How do I know which kit to purchase?

What type of treatment will you or your loved one have? If it’s surgery then the Recovery or Nourishing kit would be appropriate. If it’s chemotherapy then the Healing kit will help manage the basic side effects, the Beauty kit will help manage the beauty side effects and the Nourishing kit to help with general nutrition. If radiation, then the Radiance kit would be the most appropriate and the Nourishing could also be useful.

 

What is the difference between the Essentials and Luxe kits?

Our Luxe kits are an excellent gift, with items that help buoy the mind, body and spirit of a woman going through a major medical treatment. The Essentials kits are just that--the basic items to help mainly with the physical side effects of treatment. If you are buying for yourself, you may not want to spend the additional money on beautiful gift items and prefer to have just the physical treatment items. If you’re buying for a loved one, we know how important having those additional beautiful, luxurious and comforting items are to the emotional state of a woman in treatment. We created the Luxe boxes as the “dream kit” we wish we’d received during treatment but realize that not everyone has the funds or desire for those.

 

Do you offer payment plans or gift purchasing?

Our payment partner is Klarna and you can sign up for an installment plan at very low interest rates to spread your purchase out over several months or years. We do encourage gift purchasing but do not have the infrastructure to help facilitate but hope you can use some of the products on offer these days including Venmo, Zelle, Paypal to coordinate payment between you and your friends if you’re co-purchasing.

 

Do you ship everywhere and what are the costs?

We Ground ship within the lower 48-states for free. If you are in Alaska or Hawaii or outside of the United States, then additional shipping fees will apply. If you need expedited shipping in the United States, then you can select a faster option and pay the additional fee.  We are offering shipping to Australia and the UK currently but if you would like to ship to another international location please email us at support@carakit.com and we'll do our best to accommodate.

 

How long will it take to receive my order?

We utilize several carriers including the United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS, FedEx and DHL. We do not guarantee the arrival date of any kit because of the inherent uncertainty of shipping to any specific address. You will be given a tracking number upon purchase and can track your delivery through your carrier and number.

 

What is your return or exchange policy?

We do not offer returns or replacements of the majority of our items because our boxes are hand-kitted and packaged as a single product. If any item within the box is damaged, or if there is a size or color-specific product and the recipient needs a replacement, we are happy to help facilitate that. Please email support@carakit.com with the name of the recipient, the item to replace, and a mailing address to send the return label. We will send the replacement item immediately but if we do not receive the exchange item within 30 days, the card on file will be charged for the replacement item.

 

I (or my giftee) received a damaged product. What should I do?

If any item within the box is damaged, or if there is a size or color-specific product for which the recipient needs a replacement, we are happy to help facilitate that. Please email support@carakit.com with the name of the recipient, the item to replace, an image if possible and a mailing address to send the return label. We will send the replacement item immediately but if we do not receive the exchange item within 30 days, the card on file will be charged for the replacement item.

 

Can I add a customized gift note to a box?

Yes. If you are purchasing a gift there will be an option to send a message to the recipient of the kit. There will also be an option box that says “include a physical copy of this note” under that text box. If you would like us to print and include your note physically, in addition to the recipient receiving via email, just check the box and we’ll add.

Is there a bulk discount for multiple boxes?

Yes, there is a discount if you are ordering more than 5 boxes. Please contact kelley@carakit.com with your order.

 

Do you have promotional codes?

We do not currently offer promotional codes.
